MANILA, Philippines -- The film “The Last Mimzy” is based on “Mimsy Were the Borogroves,” the classic, circa-1940s short story by Lewis Padgett, which in turn was partly inspired by Lewis Carroll’s poem, “Jabberwocky.” There are three titles mentioned in the preceding sentence, and one of them just doesn’t cut it. You can probably guess which one.
